IQ3249 FLUSH MOUNT LIGHT
Description:
An extra large and gorgeous 'Tulipan' flush mount chandelier by J.T. Kalmar, Austria, Vienna, manufactured in midcentury, circa 1970 (late 1960s or early 1970s).
The name Tulipan derives from the tulip shaped hand blown bubble glasses. Fifty-one glasses are mounted with brass screws on a white enameled metal frame. The lamp is documented in the Kalmar catalogue from 1972.
The fixture takes twelve small screw base bulbs (E14 candelabra with max. 40W per bulb).
Light bulbs are not included. It is possible to install the lamps in all countries (US, UK, Europe, Asia, Canada, ...) although it may be necessary to purchase different light bulbs suitable to local electricity. The fixtures also can be used with a dimmer.

Kalmar had a cooperation with several Italian glass makers located in Murano (e.g. Mazzega, Venini) and got the glasses from there.
